International School of Ministry ISOM
Many years have passed since I first met the founder of ISOM.
The year was 1982. I had started a new church in a storefront building. In one of our Sunday evening services, a young man came into the meeting near the conclusion of the service. He stood in the back of the church while I was closing the meeting. I remember the Holy Spirit speaking these words, “this young man is going to touch the world”.
After the young man finished his education, he went to Africa to work for Reinhard Bonnke. He saw the lack of qualified ministers to disciple of the thousands of new converts coming to the Lord and he became burdened to help train students for ministry.
Some years passed and he was able to begin the teaching sessions known to the world as ISOM. That young man I have been speaking about is Dr. Berin Gilfillan, founder and President of Good Shepherd Ministries now touching the world.
The ISOM is the world's largest video Bible school with over 12,000 training sites in 141 countries and over 60 languages. ISOM was established worldwide to train students starting in ministry. VWMIM has used ISOM to provide additional help to students and pastors at home and abroad.
