Kigali Rwanda Bible College
Here are some pictures of the college students and lecturers,taken the first week after we started our second semester last week. Keep this great work of God in prayers,we are beginning to see the fruits in ministries of the students as they give testimonies of what God is doing in their lives and ministries,in all the countries represented.

The project consists of Africa Bible College and Outreach Church with “Sisters from prostitution and Drugs and their families”
(I don’t have any pictures with me from the Sisters… I think I have sent earlier… they would be about 130 ladies and children and few men sitting in white plastic chairs.) If you do not have I will get when I return to NC.
Subject: COURSE ON DISASTER INTERVENTION AND MANAGEMENT
I have followed the events of the Rwandan Genocide and the recent election violence in Kenya, I have learn t that the general population in most countries in Africa trust the Church and Pastors and look to the church as a place of security and guidance for all especially in times of crisis.
It is sad to see how many people have died especially women and children in church premises, some sad to say sold out by the pastors out of fear or gain. I feel that it is high time the church leaders were prepared before hand to be able to manage such a crisis. I feel that the knowhow gained will save a life given the fact that violence in this region is very unpredictable. We are privileged to have students in currently affected countries like Burundi and the DR Congo.
The areas of focus that I managed to come up with are:
1.Analysis skills, of a situation before it gets out of hand.
2.Negotiation skills, to help warring parties.
3.Neutrality on issues relating to Politics, ethnicity etc so as to have authority to accommodate warring parties.
4.Emergency Organization, what they are involved with, how to contact them for medical, food, shelter and other aids. and how to raise international awareness.
5.International Relations, policies and charters.
These are the areas I thought needs skills development:
In Kenya and Rwanda we have cases where women and children were burnt alive in churches or hatched, shot to death.
I am just coming from the most exciting baptism,at the bush church.
We baptized 36 new believers,I did it with four student pastors from the college.
The scene was so reminding of the early church simplicity and dedication to God as we stood in the muddy river with over a hundred individuals on the shore cheering the candidates as they came up from the waters.
They kept singing the song,all will pass away but the faithful will receive His promises in Rwandese.
One could see that given their impoverished condition, their joy was entirely a matter of the work of the grace of God in their lives,some people have to pay so dearly to walk with God.
We then failed to get a car back to Kigali and had to walk over 12 kilometers to where we could get one,I had the students with me and we couldnt stop talking about the power of FAITH in GOD.
I still wonder whether Iam paying a price enough for the LORD who gave all for me.
God has been teaching us as family on the GREAT PRIVILEGE OF SACRIFICING for the Lord and For His people.
We deeply love Him and wish to be totally expended for His glory and Honor.
We love you so much and enjoy to share with you all our experiences,WE truly pray for you so very much,Keep us in the same.

Dear Dad and Mum,
It was the most blessed moment for us, especially me and my wife, I had boasted to a number of friends including pastor Joseph of the great parents that God has given to us, and you did not disapoint us in one way.
I know it without a single doubt that God brought you our way, We are proud of you and the grace God has given you to parent.
It brings such joy to see the sisters on the chairs you purchased, along with the bibles. We are just so greatful to God. They are too excited for their church, next week we are going all with them for house to house evangelism in their areas.
Thank you so much for the burden to help the pastors buy food for their people.

We look back and all we see is Gods faithfulness in all the work He called us to do in this region,We now feel that the Lord tailored us for this area.

Our service with the sisters was such a blessing today,we had only five seats empty the rest were full,Thanks again for being ablessing to the sisters with the additional chairs,I will be sending the pictures soon.
Today I was teaching them on giving and tithing and focussing on God as a source of blessing and we had powerful time.

Dear Dad and Mum,
I received the money for the food in the poor area of Bugesera, I have had a good meeting with papa on the buying and transportion of the food, which we will do on Wednesday next week since papa is a bit busy.
The pastor is happy for the donation to his people and he says that may God bless you and the VWMIM donors.
We had a good revival meeting with the sisters today, so many of those who have gotten saved in this week came, I will get you the photos.

Subject: ANOTHER MIRACLE
Dear Dad and Mum
Your constant prayers are doing much to our work with the sisters.
We had an amazing service, we had 90 adults among them those we have been reached last week.
The sisters were so smart you can’t believe that they were once on the streets, One of them had such a moving testimony of her commitment to God even in the instance when she has had nothing to eat.
The love of God can reach out and consistantly change an individual, We stand amazed of Gods great work in our sisters.
Thanks for your constant prayers.
We received miraculously the money you sent for the rent of the facility we are using, we were due and God came at the right time.
Our sister who is an AIDS, who gave birth to twins some days ago is improving together with the children, Keep her and us in prayers to keep taking care of her.
Our need for chairs is now so great,a good number of our sisters stood some with babies on their back, Keep us more and more in prayers. Next sunday we may have more coming for we are continuing with our outreach.

This last part of the year has started with some high spiritual and ministerial breakthroughs both at the college and in the churches.
We now have 22 students after we received three from Tanzania, one from DRC and others from Rwanda.
We are now busy creating awareness of the importance of evangelization and discipleship.
The whole of last week I was teaching the sisters on reaching out and discipling and developing disciples.
We introduced evangelism and discipleship in the college for the last two weeks the students have reached out and won 82 souls the saved come to the college every wednesday we want to train the pastors on-the-job how to disciple.
We are busy visiting the churches and so much speaking about being the disciples of Jesus.
We are aware that your prayers and encouragement are granting these breakthroughs.
We love you so much, may the granting the Lord bless you.

GOD ANSWERS PRAYERS,WE HAVE BEEN CRYING TO HIM OVER

Subject: THE TESTIMONY OF A SIX YEARS OLD
I was preaching this morning to the sisters from Psalms 3,seven people graciously got saved.
The whole environment was electrified with Gods presence people were crying under His touch.
One thing touched me more than all the others,a boy stood up to thank God for what He has done for him a six years old.
He said that he wants to thank God for the salvation of his mother,he had longed to experience the mothers love but she was too busy drinking, and many other things, he said I am so thankful to God for saving her(he started crying uncontrollably)after he was calmed down, he proceeded that he had been thrown out of the house by the mother, and would beg for a place to sleep from people but they too chased him off, he rarely had food to eat, but now because of the salvation of the mother, they can spend time together.
The whole church went in tears, We prayed for Him that God will guide him to greater use.
I just thought it too overwhelming to keep it and not share it with you.
Keep Susan in prayers she needs them.
